Activities

Our lodge is situated on a beautiful 30-acre tract that is open for all our guests to enjoy and explore. The area is teaming with many animal species to watch and photograph, especially during the spring when birds are migrating north. The beautiful San Julian Creek runs in front of the lodge and is stocked with perch and largemouth bass, so remember to bring your rod and tackle box during your stay. Fishing in the creek is catch and release only so that all of our guests can enjoy a fun fishing experience.

We have established two areas for guests to watch and photograph birds and animals. These areas are maintained year round to make your viewing experience enjoyable. All of the bird photos below were taken from these areas and the lodge grounds. We also have portable blinds that can be requested from the manager if you feel like trying to get that perfect picture.

Located adjacent to our BBQ area we have washers, ladder golf and two regulation horseshoe pits. Pitching horseshoes is always a great way to unwind and enjoy the outdoors with your family and friends.
